On January 8, 2010, the famed creator of Gumby, Art Clokey died at 88. When I found this out, I was devestated. He was one of the most famous pioneers in stopmotion animation and he paved the way for newer animations like Toy Story. I have been a fan of his work since I was a kid. I feel he should be remembered for his achievements and I know he will be greatly missed....
